What are the goals of an All-Stars for Jesus program?
The All-Stars
for Jesus program is designed to lead children from age 2 through
sixth grade to a personal faith in Jesus, to teach them of God's
love and care, to encourage them to grow spiritually, and to give
them a solid Biblical foundation for their lives.
We want
each child to know that he or she is a star in Jesus' eyes,
no matter what the child's skills and abilities are. Jesus loves
children just as they are. All-Stars for Jesus Bible clubs help children
to feel loved and accepted.
All-Stars
for Jesus partners with churches to extend their outreach from just
Sunday school to mid-week, Sunday evening, or other times children
can gather to learn about Jesus. All-Stars meetings are a fun, less
formal time with a variety of interesting and exciting activities
to direct the child's attention to God's Word. The optional awards
program offers a further way to extend the Bible learning into the
home.
Why Bible clubs?
God loves
children. He commanded parents to "train up a child in the way
he should go." (Proverbs 22:6) Jesus said, "Suffer [let]
the little children to come onto me, and forbid them not, for of
such is the kingdom of God." (Mark 10:14) All-Stars for Jesus
Bible Clubs are designed to help churches and parents teach children
to know God, to believe in Jesus as their Savior, and to live for
Him. Researchers tell us that 43 percent of people who are Christians
accepted Christ as Savior before the age of 13! We want to help you
reach that 43 percent…and more!
Bible
clubs also offer a non-threatening place for children to come who
might never attend a regular church service or Sunday school class.
In a
world where children are exposed to a variety of bad influences coming
from all directions, All-Stars for Jesus Bible clubs are places of
love and encouragement where kids can safely learn how to say no
to those bad influences and learn how to live a victorious life in
Christ.

Can you give me a list of the Bible stories and memory
verses to be studied in All-Stars for Jesus during the next year?
Yes!
You can view and download a Scope
and Sequence for each All-Stars for Jesus age level.
What do the creators of All-Stars for Jesus believe?
Please
view and download our Statement
of Faith.
What size churches can use All-Stars for Jesus Bible clubs?
Users
of our materials range from very small rural churches to large city
churches, to military base chapels and neighborhood Bible studies.
Our curriculum is flexible so a wide variety of churches or groups
can use it.
Is All-Stars for Jesus affordable?
Absolutely!
There are no membership fees or dues. The teacher's materials are
just $59.95 per quarter for each age group's Starter
Kit, and $45.95 for each quarter's teaching materials thereafter — for two meetings
a week. We offer Value Pricing on student materials to save you extra
money. You receive free shipping when you are on Standing Order (each
quarter's leader and student materials are shipped automatically).
Plus, each child could have ALL first-year awards for as low as .82
cents a week! There is no requirement that you use all available
materials — just choose the options that will work with your
group and your finances. Our All-Stars Promo Kit offers helpful fundraising
ideas, too.
Do you offer materials for a summer quarter?
Yes,
we offer a 13-week summer quarter for each All-Stars age group, in
addition to the fall, winter, and spring materials. A large number
of churches still run their Bible clubs during the summer. Also, All-Stars
Explorers summer materials are great for use as a summer Sunday
school when your church has smaller numbers of kids attending.
What does an All-Stars for Jesus meeting look like?
Each
meeting is designed with four basic steps, plus Pre-Session activities
and Closing Prayer. Take a look at our Multi-Use™ Meeting
Schedule. The schedule is flexible to use for two meetings a
week, or provides extra options for your Bible club time. Each activity
in each step relates to the meeting objective listed at the beginning
of each weekly meeting.
How long are All-Stars for Jesus meetings?
Your
group may meet from 45 minutes to 1½ hours. Our Easy-Trac™ format
gives you an easy-to-follow road map for your meeting schedule. View
the sample Multi-Use™ Meeting
Schedule. Choose the activities you have time for from the left
side of each meeting page in the Leader's Guide. These are
the core of each meeting. If you have extra time, choose additional
activities from the right side of the schedule. Easy-Trac™ meetings
let you pick and choose activities that your kids (and leaders) enjoy
the most.
What class size do you recommend for each All-Stars age
group?
All-Stars
for Jesus is designed to be used by churches of all sizes. We recommend
class sizes be kept small enough so each child receives personalized
attention. Try to keep the maximum number of children in each group
to 12, if possible. If you expect no more than about 16 children
for each meeting per club age-level when you launch your program,
plan to have two groups to begin with. This allows for expected growth.
(See the next question for leaders needed.)
What leadership is needed for an All-Stars for Jesus group?
There
should be at least three persons assigned to each Honeybees, Cubby
Bears, and Primaries group, and at least two for Middlers, Preteens,
and Explorers groups. We recommend for a mostly two-year-old Honeybees
group that there be no more than three children per leader or helper.
Teenagers and college students make wonderful helpers. Many churches
have a club director to oversee each program and to order materials
for everyone.
What materials are needed to run a successful All-Stars
for Jesus program?
The quarterly
leader's Flex-Lesson Leader's Guide and Bible Teaching
Resources are the most important elements of each Bible club.
The essential pieces for each student are the quarterly Classroom
Activity Sheets and Take-Home Papers (Activity
Packs for Preteens). You save money by receiving these quarterly
materials on Standing Order (free shipping for orders over $100).
You also save by ordering sets of student items together.
The optional
Awards Program is an important part of an All-Stars Bible club. Completing
a variety of activities in the award book (memorizing Scripture,
at-home-projects, puzzles, etc.) reinforces what a child has been
learning at All-Stars for Jesus, and gets the family involved, too.
Children may earn colorful T-shirts, caps, pennants,
and iron-on awards by working in their award books. All are available
for purchase separately, and you save money with Value Pricing when
you order 12 of many age-level items (e.g., 12 Honeybees T-shirts)
or Awards Packs (one of each first-year award for one child).
We suggest age-appropriate
songs to be used in each Bible club meeting. For the two younger-age
clubs and the All-Stars Explorers groups, each meeting includes
a puppet time with cuddly, lovable puppets.
All-Stars
for Jesus also offers a variety of fun accessories anyone may order.
Looking for tote bags, lanyards and name badges, sweatshirts, bookmarks,
or visors? Check out our fun awards
and accessories your kids will love. We also have promotional
items to help advertise your club, such as an Outdoor
Banner and club
posters.
Which Bible version is used for All-Stars for Jesus?
All Scripture
texts and Bible memory verses are listed in both the King James Version
(KJV) and the New International Version (NIV). You choose the version
you prefer to use in your teaching and to have the children memorize.
